We travel to the gouged, dusty, battered stone island of Milos, Greece to bring to life our new bridal collection.
Milos - a place more famously known for the discovery of the Venus De Milo; it was here that archaeologist Olivier Voutier saw a shape, the naked torso of a woman, carved in marble, lying on her side. Her torso was followed by draped legs, a wedge from the hip, plinth, foot and other fragments...and in the afternoon light what would become known as the Venus de Milo stood before Voutier.
Our location not only provided the idyllic setting in its stone cliffs and aegean charm, but also the perfect juxtaposition of an ethereal Venus and the Shona Joy bride.
