We met when he was living in New York, and me in London. I knew from the first date that even though there was that distance between us, we were onto something special. A few months later he moved to London and we’ve been building our life here together ever since. He’s the person who made me believe in soulmates.

We got engaged at Hotel Du Cap in Antibes in October 2023. I was invited on a completely fake “Armani beauty brand trip”. The hotel & the makeup artist were both in on it. It was the best surprise.

The South of France isn’t just special to us because we got engaged there. We both have family connections to the area and it really is our special place. We wanted somewhere that captured french rural charm, without feeling stuffy and formal. Plus a cypress tree garden was on every wedding Pinterest board of mine, so when we saw that, we were sold.

For me, weddings are all about colour and joy, so I knew I wanted my bridesmaids in all different tones and necklines. It also means everyone feels their most comfortable, beautiful self on the day which is more than I can ask for. The ruched halter in yellow is a particular favourite of mine.
