Set high above the Tuscan countryside, Pau Dictado and Peter Hong gathered their closest circle for a celebration shaped by time, travel and devotion. Castello di Bibbione became the backdrop to a celebration that felt intimate and intentionally personal.

It all started in 2009, during our senior year of high school. Our first real interaction happened at a casual group hangout, grabbing burgers with friends.
We made it official two months after, and have been together ever since! From teenagers navigating the awkwardness of early adulthood to grown-ups figuring out careers, responsibilities, and everything in between, we’ve been there for each other every step of the way.

We knew we wanted a destination wedding that felt both classic and timeless, yet dreamy and deeply romantic. Tuscany captured our hearts with its lush greenery and serene beauty, and when we discovered Castello di Bibbione, it truly felt magical. A castle tucked into the rolling hills. We loved that it allowed us to host all of our guests in one place, creating a shared experience where we could maximize our time together.

For our reception, I envisioned cascading drapery and lush hydrangeas flowing along two long tables. We wanted the atmosphere to feel intimate, moody, and ethereal. Even with last-minute adjustments due to rain, our incredible vendor team brought the vision to life so beautifully, and I’m endlessly grateful for how perfectly it all came together.

Shona Joy has always been a dream brand for my bridesmaids—their dresses are effortlessly elegant, with a stunning range of styles and fabrics. I chose the graphite shade because it carries that subtle late-’90s nostalgia I adore. It’s a neutral that never feels overly trendy: timeless, sophisticated, and quietly luxurious. I asked my bridesmaids to choose the style they felt their best in, and they looked absolutely stunning on the day. They told me they felt amazing in the dresses—and loved how comfortable they were, too. The color flattered each of my girls beautifully and created the perfect contrast against the lush greenery of Tuscany.
For the day of, I wore my dream gown from Vivienne Westwood—the Tabitha. The corseted, off-shoulder silhouette gave a modern take on a sweetheart neckline, flowing into an A-line shape with a high slit that felt both romantic and a little bold. To soften the look, I added a lace-trim blusher veil and wore pointed tulle heels from Jimmy Choo. For accessories, I kept things classic with a tennis necklace, a matching bracelet, and simple diamond studs.
