Love Letters

Under the golden light of Sifnos, Pauline Gandolfini and Thomas Benoist-Lucy celebrated a love story nearly a decade in the making. The island had long been their place of return, Its landscapes, Its light, Its familiar rhythm of life and so it became the natural stage for a three-day celebration that read like a love letter to the Aegean. Every detail carried intention, from the seaside setting to the bridesmaids’ soft pink palette in La Lune silhouettes, echoing the blooms of the evening and the quiet romance of the Aegean.

We met almost nine years ago thanks to an app. I knew when I met him that he would be the one, and seven years later, he proposed to me in the Maldives during sunset on our last evening there. Just the two of us in our villa after a swim at sunset, drinking champagne. It was pretty magical!

We chose to get married in Sifnos, Greece, because that’s what we always wanted since we went there for the first time together, 9 years ago. We fell in love with the island, the people, the vibe, the light, the landscapes, and the food. It feels like home every single time, it’s very, very special to us.

We know all the places and we are used to staying in the most magical place on the island: Verina Astra. So we decided to make a discovery for our guests, why we love the island so much. We chose our favorite places and food to celebrate over three days. We booked the hotel for our guests and designed the wedding, starting with that. It was so special.
